Happy Monday MTG peeps,
Over on the mothersite, WoTC minions Adam Styborski and Gavin Verhey served up some additional Planechase previews - check it out - new card images are below but for the moment, here is a some highlights of known Planechase information to date from Hunter on the forums ;
• Planechase (2012 Edition) comes out on June 1, 2012.
• Each of the four decks contains a sixty-card Magic deck, a ten-card planar deck, and a planar die.
• Phenomenon cards are a new kind of oversized cards. These represent the sort of perils that lurk between planes.
• Each deck has eight new plane cards and two new phenomenon cards
• Plane cards and phenomenon cards are not shared between decks
• There are a total of 32 new planes and 8 new phenomena.
• There are a total of 21 new Eternal-legal Magic cards in the set, spread across the four decks.
• Each deck has six of the 21 new cards (counting by name), although some appear in multiples.
• Each deck contains a mythic rare multicolored legendary creature that serves as the deck's catalyst... and is also perfect for building a new Commander deck around.
• Each deck contains two rare cards that each appear once.
• Each deck contains two uncommon cards that each appear twice.
• Each deck contains a common card that appears once in each Planechase deck (Fractured Powerstone).
