Happy Wednesday MTG peeps,
We had done a little tweaking to our current decks over the course of the weekend to better reflect the changing meta-game at our local store. 'RetroTech' is running a mono-white human build, 'R-Stomp' is running a modified Deathfed deck, and I (CopySix), am sticking with the Green-White Township Tokens. What are we changing ? Mostly the inclusion in the sideboard of Celestial Purge (where we are running white) and / or sideboarding Nihil Spellbomb against those popular flashback / Snapcaster Mage builds. These are just some things we are looking at. Speaking of the meta-game, here are a few pics from the last Friday Night Magic event at OMG! Games which may give some idea as to what is popular these days . . .
A brave soul playing a mono-green build featuring the hexproof Dungrove Elder.

A 'Burn & Bloodthirst' mono-red build featuring Gobbies, Stormblood Beserker and the Shrine of Burning Rage.

A 'RuG' build based somewhat on Brian Kibler's recent deck which features Skinshifter, Viridian Emissary, Arc Trail, Mana Leak, Brimstone Volley and Snapcaster Mage.

A typical 'Red Deck Wins' with Stromkirk Noble, Volt Charge, Reckless Waif, Spikeshot Elder, andStormblood Berserker
