M10 Spoiler 13

~
Many thanks to the hero of the hour quodo and many others who had contributed generously to complete the Magic 2010 spoiler . . . We now have the last ten cards and are sitting at 249 / 249 !

Over the next few weeks, MTG Realm will be digesting these and excreting opinions as to what's hot / what's not and what this may mean for standard.

Let's have a look at the last ten now . .

~
Borderland Ranger, 2G
Creature — Human Scout C
When Borderland Ranger enters the battlefield, you may search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, and put it into your hand. If you do, shuffle your library.
“Only fools and bandits use roads.”
2/2
Jesper Ejsing

Bramble Creeper, 4G
Creature — Elemental C
Whenever Bramble Creeper attacks, it gets +5/+0 until end of turn.
“I’ve seen the fully grown ones tear a baloth to gory ribbons in seconds.”—Kivi, thornberry harvester
0/3
Carl Critchlow

Centaur Courser, 2G
Creature — Centaur Warrior C
“The centaurs are truly free. Never will they be tamed by temptation or controlled by fear. They live in total harmony, a feat not yet achieved by our kind.”—Ramal, sage of Westgate
3/3
Vance Kovacs

Cudgel Troll, 2GG
Creature — Troll U
G: Regenerate Cudgel Troll. (The next time this creature would be destroyed this turn, it isn’t. Instead tap it, remove all damage from it, and remove it from combat.)
4/3
Jesper Ejsing

Emerald Oryx, 3G
Creature — Antelope C
Forestwalk (This creature is unblockable as long as defending player controls a Forest.)
After the oryx dies, its flesh returns to the earth, but its emerald bones remain as a tribute to the forest.
2/3
Daren Bader

Entangling Vines, 3G
Enchantment — Aura C
Enchant tapped creature
Enchanted creature doesn’t untap during its controller’s untap step.
Every living thing has roots in nature. Sometimes nature gets its roots into you.
Thomas M. Baxa

Mist Leopard, 3G
Creature — Cat C
Shroud (This creature can’t be the target of spells or abilities.)
“I can’t claim to hunt all creatures. There are some things in the jungle that simply can’t be hunted.”—Garruk Wildspeaker
3/2
John Matson

Mold Adder, G
Creature — Fungus Snake U
Whenever an opponent casts a blue or black spell, you may put a +1/+1 counter on Mold Adder.
The more you struggle against its coils, the tighter they get.
1/1
Matt Cavotta

Prized Unicorn, 3G
Creature — Unicorn U
All creatures able to block Prized Unicorn do so.
“The desire for its magic horn inspires such bloodthirsty greed that all who see the unicorn will kill to possess it.”—Dionus, elvish archdruid
2/2
Sam Wood

Stampeding Rhino, 4G
Creature — Rhino C
Trample (If this creature would deal enough damage to its blockers to destroy them, you may have it deal the rest of its damage to defending player or planeswalker.)
“Sometimes I wonder if our weapons and armor are a step backward.”—Soron, rhox pikemaster
4/4
Steven Belledin

This entire set seems vanilla to me. Nothing truly exciting, as Wizards were leading us to believe. Sure, there are some great looking cards, but having Terror reprinted with another name for instance? Meh.
