Happy Wednesday MTG peeps,
We're now mid-week in the second week of Journey into Nyx spoilers and previews and there seems to be a good selection of new Magic: the Gathering cards out so far which will make players happy no matter which game format you may call your favourite. The MTG Realm Journey into Nyx spoiler / preview list stands at 75 of 165 cards now revealed. We should have most if not all the new cards out by this weekend and up on the Gatherer card database by Tuesday 22nd April in time for the PreRelease event next weekend. Check in with your local game store to make sure you have a spot reserved. We'll be doing our regular video coverage at OMG! Games here in Barrie.
Anywhoos - let's have a look at today's Journey into Nyx previews -
Harness by Force, 1RR
Sorcery, Rare
Strive — Harness by Force costs 2R more to cast for each target beyond the first.
Gain control of any number of target creatures until end of turn. Untap those creatures. They gain haste until end of turn.
Epic art by Yefim Kligerman, an artist who we think now has his first MTG card art under his belt. Looks overcosted but decent card late game for that alpha-strike.

Here is another JOU cycle - the 'Fonts'. These five cards are all commons, are enchantments, and provides an activated ability which sacs the card. We're pre-ordering all of these handy fellas from MTG Mint Card.

Next up -
• Golden Hind - common mana-dork (an Elk!)
• Strength of the Fallen - Uncommon 'constellation' card with related graveyard pump.
• Disciple of Deceit - Uncommon blue / black inspired ability to discard to dig for an equal cmc for your hand. This will will games.
• Desperate Stand - Uncommon red / white strive sorcery sweet for that alpha swing.

The fonts appear to be common not uncommon.
