The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) is now on in Seattle this weekend, and promises to be one of the more important shows for Magic the Gathering players. This is the opportunity where Wizards of the Coast will be showcasing their entire product line from Dungeons & Dragons to their electronic games. Wizards will offer attendees the chance to play Duels of the Planeswalker and Magic the Gathering Tactics at the booth located at booth # 1114 inside the Intel, Valve, and Bioware areas.

There is also a metric tonne of MTG tournaments to play in - everything from the regular formats such as Standard, Sealed, and Draft, and some very interesting fun formats which we have not even heard of like the following -
Mini-Master: In this format each player receives a Magic 2011 booster and three of each basic land. Players shuffle all cards together and play in single elimination. Players still in the event receive an additional booster at the start of each round and add it to their deck.
Snowball: Each player receives a random 30 card single-color deck and a booster pack. After each round players receive a booster pack to add cards to their deck. Single-game matches - play until the event is over!
Righto - We need your HELP - we need you to send updates to us if you are attending - send us an eMail us! your twitter / twitpic / tweetphoto feed or just a simple eMail and we will share it with the rest of the readers providing our thanks and credit.
