Scars Mirrodin Tokens

Good Day folks,

It's starting to get cold and cr@ppy outside around where we live but for the moment, Scars of Mirrodin previews are burning up the internets. Today's post, we won't be yattering about some of the new awesome cards which will pimp your game but rather what Scars of Mirrodin cards are generating tokens. Playing a token deck can be rather powerful - just look at how well the Eldrazi Green build had been doing. Anywhoos - let's have us a look what Wizards gave us today . . .

Elspeth Tirel, 3ww
Planeswalker - Elspeth, Mythic Rare
+2: You gain 1 life for each creature you control.
-2: Put three 1/1 white Soldier creature tokens onto the battlefield.
-5: destroy all other permanents except for lands and tokens.

Kemba, Kha Regent, 1ww
Legendary Creature - Cat Cleric, Rare
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a 2/2 white Cat creature token onto the battlefield for each equipment attached to Kemba, Kha Regent.

Sword of Body and Mind, 3
Artifact - Equipment , Mythic Rare
Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from green and from blue.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, you put a 2/2 green Wolf creature token onto the battlefield and that player puts the top ten cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
Equip 2

Trigon of Infestation, 4
Artifact Uncommon
Trigon of Infestation enters the battlefield with 3 charge counters on it.
{G}{G}, {T}: Put a charge counter on Trigon of Infestation.
2, {T}, Remove a charge counter from Trigon of Infestation: Put a 1/1 green Insect creature token with infect onto the battlefield.

Wurmcoil Engine, 6
Artifact Creature - Wurm, Mythic Rare
Deathtouch, Lifelink
When Wurmcoil Engine is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a 3/3 colorless Wurm artifact creature token with deathtouch and a 3/3 colorless Wurm artifact creature token with lifelink onto the battlefield.

Precursor Golem, 5
Artifact Creature - Golem, Rare
When Precursor Golem enters the battlefield, put two 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature tokens onto the battlefield.
Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single Golem, that player copies that spell for each other Golem that spell could target. Each of those spells targets a different one of those Golems.

We also have an unaccounted for token with no parent in sight - Wizards has not previewed the card yet, so we'll have to use our imagination . .

Yep - that is a 1/1 Goblin creature token.

Also - We have a very handy poison counter card to throw our dice on to see how much longer we will last at the game table . . .

From the Comprehensive Rules

* 502.69. Poisonous
o 502.69a Poisonous is a triggered ability. "Poisonous N" means "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player gets N poison counters." (For information about poison counters, see rule 102.3d.)
o 502.69b If a creature has multiple instances of poisonous, each triggers separately.
o 102.3d If a player has ten or more poison counters, he or she loses the game the next time a player would receive priority. (This is a state-based effect. See rule 420.)

We have not forgotten the cards which generate Myr tokens but would like to give it a separate post as this new quasi-tribal development demands it's own post - please look for this post soon.
