My Zendikar Fat Pack

~
Hello again my peeps, and welcome to another post to MTG-Realm.com as we further explore Magic: The Gathering's latest release and excavate a Zendikar Fat Pack before your very eyes.

First off however, we hope that if you did head out to a Zendikar release event this weekend, you did well and more importantly, had a lot of fun with your sealed event.

Secondly, we want to provide some derision and slight regard not to Wizards of the Coast but rather their logistical machine . . . come on now! Zendikar has already sold out ?! There are literally thousands of players
around the world right now with CA$H in hand wanting to buy product but cannot - this is just bad business in uncertain economic times such as these. This is exactly how soviet-era commerce operated back in the day. Do this again and we will call out your sales and distribution folks and label them communists. ;-)

Right - Now with that unpleasantness over, let's look at a
probatory video of our Zendikar Fat Pack . . .

~

RARES we pulled . .

Arid Mesa, Marsh Flats, Malakir Bloodwitch, Elemental Appeal, Beastmaster Ascension, Lorthos, the Tidemaker, Armament Master, and Electropotence. We also found a very nice FOIL Akoum Refuge (uncommon) which has us now happy.

What does one receive from the MTG gods in their Fat Pack ?

Eight 15-card booster packs

A card box with panoramic art

The Zendikar Player's Guide, which contains play tips, story background, and a visual encyclopedia of every card in the set

A learn-to-play insert

An excerpt from Path of the Planeswalker expected in book and comic stores everywhere early 2010

An exclusive Zendikar Spindown Life Counter, and

A pack of 40 Zendikar full art basic lands.

I personally know a few people who will be purchasing two or more Fat Packs just in order to get their hands on the full art lands for their newly constructed / reconstructed decks.

Doesn't it suck to draw jank Mythics? I would personally rather have pulled any of the rares that you got over Lorthos, the Tidemaker.
