Happy Wednesday MTG peeps,
By Friday 12th September, we should have the entire Khans of Tarkir set posted to the mothersite's card image gallery giving us a full week to evaluate the set ahead of the PreRelease Events the following weekend. We're hoping that by the time the PreRelease events take place Wizards will also update all the new Magic: the Gathering cards to the Gatherer database. We've not yet heard anything just yet as to how much longer we'll have to wait until WotC fixes the issues with card rating / comments - we rather miss these features.
Anywhoos, lets get on to the today's Khans of Tarkir spoilers and previews. We'll update this page as per usual with stragglers and provide the latest on our Khans of Tarkir Spoiler List Page.
~
Bloodstained Brave, B
Creature - Human Warrior, Rare
Bloodstained Brave can't block.
Raid — 1B: Return Bloodstained Brave from your graveyard to the battlefield. Activate this ability only if you attacked with a creature this turn.
2/1
Hobby Station preview. Not too shabby. This is a decent card to recycle to put some aggro pressure on your opponent and compliments Sultai graveyard tech.
~
Grim Haruspex, 2B
Creature - Human Wizard, Rare
Morph B (You may cast this card face down as a 2/2 creature for 3. Turn it face up any time for its morph cost.)
Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, draw a card.
3/2
TCG Player preview. That there is a rather nice 'n' cheap morph cost but we think that players going with a mono-black aggro strategy would not be going morph with this most of the time.
~
Jeskai Ascendancy, URW
Enchantment, Rare
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn. Untap those creatures.
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, you may draw a card. If you do, discard a card.
PlanetMTG.de preview. Another very attractive card in the Ascendancy cycle. Essentially giving all your dudes 'Prowess' tech while potentially getting them all set up again (quasi - vigilance) with an instant on your opponent's turn. The card cyling is pretty sweet too.

Surrak Dragonclaw, 2GUR
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior, Mythic Rare
Flash
Surrak Dragonclaw can't be countered.
Creature spells you control can't be countered.
Other creatures you control have trample.
6/6
Mothersite preview. This did get sneaked out ahead of the official preview on Mythic Spoiers but we were a bit hesitant on it. Awesome clan leader is awesome and will likely see play in multiple game formats.
~
Villainous Wealth, XBGU
Sorcery, Rare
Target opponent exiles the top X cards of his or her library. You may cast any number of nonland cards with converted mana cost X or less from among them without paying their mana costs.
Mythic Spoiler leak. If confirmed real, this is indeed a rather powerful card and will win games - we'll need a few of these preordered from MTG Mint Card. :)
