Happy Tuesday MTG peeps,
Magic: the Gathering fans are now into day two, week one of official Khans of Tarkir previews on the mothersite. The exciting news out today is the revelation of fourth Khan - Anafenza, the Clan leader for Abzan. We are expecting the fifth and final Clan leader of the Temur Frontier, Surrak Dragonclaw to be previewed tomorrow in all likelihood.
Please check back as we will be updating this page to include any other Khans of Tarkir spoilers latter today. Let's get to the new spoilers and previews now -
~
Utter End, 2WB
Instant, Rare
Exile target nonland permanent.
StarCity Games preview. Instant speed Vindicate - yes please! We'll take this lovey spell every day of the week. We're still holding out for just one land destruction spell.

Abzan Ascendancy, WBG
Enchantment, Rare
When Abzan Ascendancy enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control
Whenever a nontoken creature you control dies, put a 1/1 White Spirit creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
Dang that's good. Perhaps our fav card from the Ascendancy cycle. If you've been reading the MTG Realm blog for a while, you'll know we have a thingy for tokens and +1 counters. Please expect a few derpy builds from us in the near future using this enchantment.

See the Unwritten, 4GG
Sorcery, Mythic Rare
Reveal the top eight cards of your library. You may put a creature card from among them onto the battlefield. Put the rest into your graveyard.
Ferocious - If you control a creature with power 4 or greater, you may put two creature cards onto the battlefield instead of one.
Seems good, perhaps not so much for standard constructed but we'll need to check with the Commander fans if this spell will complement an aggro strategy.

Anafenza the Foremost, WBG
Legendary Creature - Human Soldier, Mythic Rare
When Anafenza the Foremost attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on another target tapped creature you control.
If a creature card would be put into an opponent's graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead.
4/4
MTG Japan Prview. its funny (or sad if you were rooting for Sultai) how this totally hates on Sidisi, Brood Tyrant with her graveyard shenanigans. At the moment we are thinking of picking up a few Preeminent Captain (M15 rare) from MTG Mint Card to work on a strategy to sneak this into play. Suffice to say this looks to be a powerful card with decent stats and the ability to slide a +1/+1 counter on another tapped (and attacking) creature.~
Sagu Mauler, 4GU
Creature - Beast, Rare
Trample, hexproof
Morph 3GU (You may cast this card face down as a 2/2 creature for {3}. Turn it face up any time for its morph cost.)
6/6
Reddit Preview. You can easily slide this into either a Temur or a Sultai build as a finisher. There is no trigger or associated benefit with the Morph tech here so we are leaning toward having this simply come on in as the trample / hexproof beater that it is.
~
Mardu Ascendancy, RWB
Enchantment, Rare
Whenever a non-token creature you control attacks, put a red goblin 1/1 token creature on the battlefield tapped and attacking.
Sacrifice Mardu Supremacy: Creatures you control gain +0/+3 until end of turn.
MTG Spain Preview. Dang this looks good. We're loving the potential to puke tokens on the game table tapped / attacking. We would also personally prefer a toughness pump rather than a power pump in order to sidestep those cheap boardwipers like Bile Blight, Anger of the Gods and Drown in Sorrow.
