Happy Tuesday MTG peeps,
One drops include full book sets of Soldier of the Pantheon, and Brave the Elements. There is Imposing Sovereign and then Precint Captain which fills the two-drop slot - the Captain not only is robust against other two drops with first strike but can drop tokens regularly. Spear of Heliod, Boros Reckoner, Banisher Priest, and Ajani, Caller of the Pride occupy the three slot and present options for control and aggro. In the four drop slot, we have pairs of both Gideon, Champion of Justice and Heliod, God of the Sun which offer resiliency against control and a number of other mid-range options. We kinda giggled when we first imagined an animated indestructible Gideon getting evasion and double strike with Ajani. Wrapping everything up is a deckset of Blood Baron at five mana, a pair of Elspeth, Sun's Champion at six and Angel of Serenity at seven mana.
In the sideboard Thoughseize and Orzhov Charm are suggested along with the typical choices one can expect against the metagame. We'll collect just a handful of MTG singles from MTG Mint Card and we have everything set to go at the next Friday Night Magic event.
