Happy Wednesday MTG peeps,
Welcome to Week 2, Day 3 of Dragon's Maze previews. Things are starting to fall in place nicely with our Spoiler List filling in. We've been virtually living on the Wizards of Coast mothersite for two weeks now as well as continually checking pre-order pricing at MTG Mint Card. This means when we wrap up just ahead of the Dragon's Maze prerelease on 27th April, we might finally go outside and see the sunlight.
Anywhoos - on to today's offerings !
~
Forum user iaquinta had these two UNOFFICIAL spoilers - this person has in the past proven reliable. Unfortunately no card images for these two although there are mock-ups floating around the webs at this time. We caution readers that these are not confirmed and suggest to defer to previews on the mothersite.
EDIT - Confirmed today (4.18.2013) over on the mothersite.
Emmara Tandris, 5gw
Legendary Creature - Elf Shaman, Rare
Prevent all damage that would be dealt to creature tokens you control
5/7
Warleader's Helix, 2rw
Instant, Uncommon
Warleader's Helix deals 4 damage to target creature or player and you gain 4 life.
Emmara Tandris, the Selesyna Champion and maze runner seems to be missing some text, if not, this may be somewhat anticlimatic. Still, not that shabby of a late game drop in a token strategy. As to Warleader's Helix, we approve. A Boros instant costing 4 which can swing life total difference to 8 is solid at an uncommon.
~
Catch / Release, 1ur / 4rw
Sorcery, Rare
Gain control of target permanent until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn.
- Fuse (You may cast one or both halves of this card from your hand.) -
Each player sacrifices an artifact, a creature, an enchantment, a land, and a planeswalker.
This a Gathering Magic preview. Nice fuse card is nice. Left brain is an Izzet Act of Treason and right brain is a Boros Rite of Ruin. As this is reasonably costed, we expect this to see some popularity at the game table.

Viashino Firstblade, 1rw
Creature - Viashino Soldier, Common
Haste
When Viashino Firstblade enters the battlefield, it gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
2/2
Here's one from the mothersite's card gallery. Good common three-drop sure to get some attention in limited.
~
Uncovered Clues, 2u
Sorcery, Common
Look at the top four cards of your library. You may reveal up to two instant and/or sorcery cards from among them and put the revealed cards into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.
This looks decent enough for standard constructed application. We're thinking about something derpy with Augur of Bolas, some flashback along with Talrand, Sky Summoner to push 2/2 flying Drake tokens while messing up the opponent's game plan.

Maze Creatures - Common mono-coloured cycle all costing six mana (five and a colour) to cast. Each of these five elemental creatures has Viliglence, Flying, Deathtouch, Haste or Trample appropriate to their colour and provide that same effect to each other multicoloured creature you control.
Maze Sentinel, 5w
Creature - Elemental, Common
Vigilance
Multicolored creatures you control have vigilance.
The route has been known for millenia, but only by those with no means to tell it.
3/6
Maze Glider, 5u
Creature - Elemental, Common
Flying
Multicolored creatures you control have flying.
3/5
Maze Abomination, 5b
Creature - Elemental, Common
Deathtouch
Multicolored creatures you control have deathtouch.
Illus. Yeong-Hao Han 4/5
Maze Rusher, 5r
Creature - Elemental, Common
Haste
Multicolored creatures you control have haste.
6/3
Maze Behemoth, 5g
Creature - Elemental, Common
Trample
Multicolored creatures you control have trample.
It returned to the leylines as quickly as it had appeared, leaving only bodies to mark its passage.
5/4
