Worldwake Spoilers 1-16

~
Good Evening Peeps,
Just dropping another post to ensure that you are fully up to date with the latest and greatest Worldwake spoilers - why ? - because we care. We hope to fill the void between this set's release and the next relase (Rise of the Eldrazi) with some serious evaluation and critical analysis for you as to how to make these cards rock, but now - here's the dump truck of awesome.

Admonition Angel, 3
Creature - Angel, Mythic Rare
Flying
Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may exile target nonland permanent other than Admonition Angel.
When Admonition Angel leaves the battlefield, return all cards exiled with it to the battlefield under their owners' control.
6/6

A 6/6 for a six mana flyer is never a bad thing, throw in a landfall O-ring ability and now you have an amazing mythic rare.

Kalastria Highborn,
Creature - Vampire Shaman, Rare
Whenever Kalastria Highborn or another Vampire you control is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may pay {B}. If you do, target player loses 2 life and you gain 2 life.
2/2

Check out Evan Erwin's great video spoiling this card !

Dragonmaster Outcast,
Creature - Human Shaman, Mythic Rare
At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control six or more lands, put a 5/5 red Dragon creature token with flying onto the battlefield.
1/1

Great card, if only it survives to see your first Dragon hit the battlefield.

Lodestone Golem, 4
Artifact Creature - Golem, Rare
Nonartifact spells cost 1 more to cast.

We can see a lot of Esper - Artifact players giving this some serious consideration for inclusion. b.t.w. - Eldrazi Green already hates this card.

Talus Paladin, 3w
Creature - Human Knight Ally, Rare
Whenever Talus Paladin or another Ally enters the battlefield under your control, you may have Allies you control gain lifelink until end of turn and you may put a +1/+1 counter on Talus Paladin.

This is a solid card but should have been uncommon or kept rare with one less ding on the mana-pool.

Lavaclaw Reaches
Land, Rare
Lavaclaw Reaches enters the battlefield tapped.
: Add or to your mana pool.
1
: Until end of turn, Lavaclaw Reaches becomes a 2/2 red and black Elemental creature with "{X}: This creature gets +X/+0 until end of turn." It's still a land.

Dang ! See this card in popular constructed play. Most Jund players are salivating right about now.

Chain Reaction, 2
Sorcery, Rare
Chain Reaction deals X damage to each creature, where X is the number of creatures on the battlefield.

This really is a death knell for a lot of token generating decks when this hits the table. Red burn just got more dangerous.

Kor Firewalker,
Creature - Kor Soldier, Uncommon
Protection from red
Whenever a player casts a red spell, you may gain 1 life.
2/2

We love pro-Red critters - remember when that Kithkin Wizard, Burrenton Forge-Tender, saw some decent tournament play?

Ricochet Trap, 3
Instant - Trap, Uncommon
If an opponent cast a blue spell this turn, you may pay
rather than pay Ricochet Trap’s mana cost.
Change the target of target spell with a single target.

No big whoop but certainly a consideration for some sideboards.

Bestial Menace, 3
Sorcery, Uncommon
Put a 1/1 green Snake creature token, a 2/2 green Wolf creature token, and a 3/3 green Elephant creature token onto the battlefield.

This card needs a punch-line . . . So this Elephant, this Wolf, and a Snake walk into a bar . . . Anywhoos - good mana economy here - worth a consideration.

lol, check out the flavour of Bestial Menace,"the battle cry reaches ears far keener..."

Did somebody at wizards forget snakes are deaf?
