Worldwake Spoiler 1-22

~
There are so many amazing Magic the Gathering Worldwake cards now being spoiled and previewed it is difficult for us to focus - think a kid told to help themself to the contents of a candystore - think a Chiuaua just fed a bowl of expresso - you guys get the idea. Anywhoos - here is another truck of awesome spilling its load on the MTG highway - we promise to get around to doing a full Worldwake review and develop decks and combos for you after.

Also - if you have not already made a Worldwake pre-order, you have either missed the train or have only a day or so to get one in - yatter to your retailer about this - srsly ! - this set looks like it will rock.

Avenger of Zendikar, 5
Creature - Elemental, Mythic Rare
When Avenger of Zendikar enters the battlefield, put a 0/1 green Plant creature token onto the battlefield for each land you control.
Landfall - Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, you may put a +1/+1 counter on each Plant creature you control.
5/5

Dang - this looks pretty damn sweet. We are now thinking about using this with Eldrazi Monument as well as this following card . . .

Khalni Garden
Land, Common
Khalni Garden enters the battlefield tapped.
When Khalni Garden enters the battlefield, put a 0/1 green Plant creature token onto the battlefield.
: Add to your mana pool.

We need you to be able to keep bouncing this back to your hand : Into the Roil or Kor Skyfisher comes to mind but we need to find a better way to abuse this.

Strength of the Tajuru, X
Instant, Rare
Multikicker 1 (You may pay an additional 1 any number of times as you cast this spell.)
Choose target creature, then choose another target creature for each time Strength of the Tajuru was kicked. Put X +1/+1 counters on each of them.

This thing will be huge for any token deck that runs green!

Jwari Shapeshifter, 1
Creature - Shapeshifter Ally, Rare
You may have Jwari Shapeshifter enter the battlefield as a copy of any Ally creature on the battlefield.
0/0

We know you want this for your Ally deck. We also know that this may be the card that many of these players were looking for. Allies are really starting to look good.

Creeping Tar Pits Land, Rare
Creeping Tar Pits enters the battlefield tapped.
: Add or to your mana pool.
1
: Until end of turn, Creeping Tar Pits becomes a 3/2 blue and black Elemental creature and is unblockable. It's still a land.

An unblockable critter ? - We need to get this - three damage for three is good card economy in our opinion.

That's it for now - we will catch up with you on Monday and provide more Worldwake preview goodness. Tonight we will be going to Friday Night Magic, at World's Away in London. If you happen to be thinking of going, look for us - we will be the one's kicking butt and taking names. Here's the 4.1.1 for Brad's cool shop.
