Happy Monday MTG peeps,
We hope you had an enjoyable weekend wherever you are and whatever you got up too. For us, it was raking several cubic-yards of leaves (we were hoping they would blow away down the street) followed by several casual games - dusted off the old Eventide Deathbringer Liege deck for play. One thing we noted was that a lot of the older cards which were decent (but not great) such as Voracious Hatchling got a lot better when playing against a newer standard-legal poison deck. Those negative one counters are a lot more interesting making some very slick or downright bomb-tastic such as Deity of Scars, Grim Poppet, or Crumbling Ashes.
Enough of that - let's yatter about the new Premium Deck Series: Fire & Lightning due out in several days on November 19th. Players / fans / collectors are certain to love this new Premium Deck product - why? - not only is there a deckset of Lightning Bolt and several new arts, but all sixty cards cards (lands included) feature a new unique foil treatment - Monty Ashley in today's Magic Arcana provided the full Fire & Lightning decklist but also a close-up of one of the new foils - we declare awesome.
Let's skip to the punchline - here's the decklist which includes 60-card premium foil deck, including 5 rare cards and 1 mythic rare (card links provided for these):
20 creatures
1 Ball Lightning, 1 Boggart Ram-Gang, 1 Cinder Pyromancer, 1 Figure of Destiny, 1 Fire Servant, 1 Grim Lavamancer, 1 Hellspark Elemental, 2 Jackal Pup, 1 Jaya Ballard, Task Mage, 1 Keldon Champion, 2 Keldon Marauders, 2 Mogg Fanatic, 2 Mogg Flunkies, 2 Spark Elemental, 1 Vulshok Sorcerer

Lastly, it is always of interest to us to check out the 'movers and shakers' for popular cards, both standard and legacy which provides an indication as to what other players may be brewing. We suggest you drop in from time to time at MTG MintCard to check out their handy Top 50 Price Rise list - linky HERE. One surprise was Taiga from Revised Edition[II].
Happy Brewing folks !
