Happy Friday MTG peoples,
Today's post we will be providing rumours about the Friday Night Magic promo cards for December and January as well as an interesting spoiler / preview for Mirrodin Besieged. Strap in and let's go . .
December 2010 FNM Promo
Wild Nacatl
Wild Nacatl is a solid common from Shards of Alara which saw some good play in Naya decks (red, white, green). The original art is Wayne Reynolds and the new art is from Kev Walker.

January 2011 FNM Promo
Everyflowing Chalice
Everflowing Chalice is an Uncommon Worldwake which had reprints in both Archenemy and Duel Decks: Elspeth vs. Tezzeret. In today's standard environment with artifacts everywhere in the Scars of Mirrodin landscape, this card is being given some serious thought for inclusion. Use Trinket Mage to get this out of your library and into your hand to strategically use it to kick-start your metalcraft shenanigans.

Also of interest - something new in the forest landscape of the Mirrodin site which may very well be in the next set, Mirrodin Besieged. Here is the art for Creeping Corrosion.
And some of the text that came with it . .
“How little the foolish elves understood their vaunted lamina, how dangerous a hope they turned to! Exploding like a cancer from seeds of glistening oil, it was no less than corruption given form. In embracing it they would find a dangerous servant, one with an insatiable hunger. Their weapons, their history, their very souls - all would be consumed by the same taint as their Vedalken oppressors. Such tragic irony was a perfect offering unto the Father.” – Larruthok, herald of Vorinclex
