Hey all, Happy Wednesday. Today is day three of Worldwake Spoilers and official WoTC previews. Again, we have a few new cards to yatter about but we also wanted to do a quick review of the customary 'Name and Number Crunch' that goes up on MTGS during this time.

Off to the new Worldwake cards first . . .

Anowon, the Ruin Sage, 3

At the beginning of your upkeep, each player sacrifices a non-Vampire creature.

There is one heck of a lot of Vampire love Wizards spread all over this set. This and the next card confirms it (as we're certain more soon to be spoiled cards will concur). If you already traded away your Vampire Nocturnus, you made a mistake - the price for this single is already going up to reflect all the awesomeness that suck-heads will have in this set. Anywhoos, as for Anowan - this card is just solid - a perfect fit for your standard Vampire deck.

Urge to Feed,
Instant, Uncommon
Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. You may tap any number of untapped Vampire creatures you control. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each of those Vampires.

Moving along to the next Vamp Worldwake card - We love the design here as it perfectly demonstrates this tribe's flavour. Having your vampire creatures tap down for a turn is not cool, but the advantages of throwing counters on them certainly outweighs this.
