Hello MTG Peeps,Here is something to ponder and speculate over the next few days before we get a Rise of the Eldrazi spoiler or a preview . . . Skywatcher Adept.
Obviously a Merfolk.
Most likely flying (or at the very least, reach).
Now for it's abilities - what is your best prognostication?
> Look at your opponent's hand ?
> Look at the top card of your library ?
> If Skywatcher Adept deals combat damage to an opponent, reveal the top card of your library and put it in your hand ?
Guess away - We have a good feeling about this card whose art is featured as today's Wallpaper of the Week over at Wizards.

Onto the spoilers !
Onto the spoilers !
Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, 3
Legendary Creature - Vampire Shaman, Rare
Flying
X : Target creature gets -0/-X until end of turn and Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief gets +X/+0 until end of turn.
4/4
This is the card which is to be the Foil Rare in the B/R Rise of the Eldrazi Intro Pack, Invading Spawn. A decent fit into your 5th slot in most standard Vampire decks - a 4/4 flyer for five is not that bad. Add in some awesome late game shenanigans when you may have extra unused mana, and this card shines. Repeatable kill each turn with accompanying pump to your creature is excellent in our opinion.
Spawnsire of Ulamog, 10
Creature - Eldrazi Rare
Annihilator 1
4: Put two 0/1 colorless Eldrazi Spawn tokens onto the battlefield. They have "Sacrifice this creature: Add 1 to your mana pool."
20: Cast any number of Eldrazi cards you own from outside the game without paying their mana costs.
7/11
This Eldrazi creature was a recent spoiler on Good Gamery. Oh - and yep - that was a rather irritating spoiler - having to hunt down pieces to put it all together - kind of kidding about that - it was almost fun. Anywhoos - Ten mana for a 7/11 is not the best deal yet, unless you can get a free hotdog or carwash out of it. We did like the Annihilator 1 line on this card however. As for Eldrazi Spawn token generation, we are not that impressed yet. The final ability comes with a 20 colourless mana price-tag but the ability is certainly a game finisher. We're uncertain whether players will often (or ever) get to have this final ability go off in standard constructed but this may work out OK for EDH players - as we're not regular EDH players, we want to hear from you on this - send us comments / eMail - we're interested (and so very lonely too).
Disaster Radius, 5
Sorcery, Rare
As an Additional cost to cast Disaster Radius, reveal a creature card from your hand,
Disaster Radius Deals X damage to each creature your opponent control, where X is the revealed card's converted mana cost.
This card is coming as a spoiler from Robot Viking. Is Disaster Radius decent? It’s effect is undeniably potent - having the ability to destroy your opponent’s creatures and leaving yours alive is always a good thing in our books. A colleague indicated that although it may not make the cut in standard constructed, the casual multiplayer game may see this as well as EDH players. The nice thing about this is that one does not even to reveal a fatty in order to make a dent (although that would certainly be better). If we had to, we would most likely go with Chain Reaction or perhaps Comet Storm over this one.
