DTK Spoilers 3-04

Day three, week one of official Dragons of Tarkir previews has brought a wallop of new Magic: the Gathering card goodness.  Let's get right to it shall we?

Narset Transcendent, 2WU
Planeswalker - Narset, Mythic Rare
+1: Look at the top card of your library. If it's a noncreature, nonland card, you may reveal it and put it into your hand.
-2: When you cast your next instant or sorcery spell from your hand this turn, it gains rebound.
-9: You get an emblem with "Your opponents can't cast noncreature spells."
Loyalty : 6

This looks incredibly good in a variety of formats.  Starting loyalty is solid for that mana cost and each of the abilities are decent.  Will be picking this one up for sure.

Risen Executioner, 2BB
Creature - Zombie Warrior, Mythic Rare
Risen Executioner can't block.
Other zombie creatures you control get +1/+1
You may cast Risen Executioner from your graveyard if you pay an additional 1 for each other creature in your graveyard.

Metagame.it preview.  We've got a thingy for lords which pump and we like the look of this with 30+ zombie creatures in standard format right now.

Other creatures you control have haste.
Whenever an opponent casts a creature or planeswalker spell with the same name as a card in their graveyard, that player loses 10 life.

Moxes Spanish preview.  Players who were hoping to play the red black dragonlord in their Commander decklist (other other singleton formats) are likely not very happy at the moment.  We like that this beast has haste and provides the same to your other critters but that's about it.

Creature - Dragon, Rare
Flying
When Foe-Razer Regent enters the battlefield, you may have it fight target creature you don't control.
Whenever a creature you control fights, put two +1/+1 counters on it at the beginning of the next end step.

We would personally be sorta sad if we cracked this in the rare slot in a pack.

Evolving Wilds - definitely needed and welcome.

Dragon Fodder - Shards of Alara reprint - approve.

Salt Road Ambushers - might be good with the likes of Hardened Scales in the format.

Stormcrag Elemental - terribad.

Marang River Skeleton - we love skeles which regen.

Scaleguard Sentinels - conditionally good, get yer dragon on.

Dragonlord's Servant - Oh heck ya - required for your dragon-centric decklist.


Gudul Lurker - OK - we would have been head over heels if this also had hexproof.
