Shadows Over Innistrad Spoilers 3-18

Happy Friday MTG peeps,

Shadows Over Innistrad spoiler and preview count now appears to be at over 137 of 297 cards revealed so far with about 16 days out to the PreRelease event.  For us, this also means that we have three Friday Magic Events at our local gaming store, OMG! Games, here in Barrie until a good number of cards in our decklists rotate out of standard.  Anywhoos, enough of us and our oncoming nostalgia, let's get to all the Shadows Over Innistrad spoilers and previews out today -

Tocage.Jp preview.  Damn fine tutor to lock in your strategic combine or win condition - and appropriately costed with a cmc of seven.

Instant, Rare
Counter target spell.
Investigate three times. (To investigate, put a colorless Clue artifact token onto the battlefield with "2, Sacrifice this artifact: Draw a card.")

Hobby Consolas preview - That is quite a lot of clue tokens and we are happy to get these little bonus artifacts tacked on to a hard counter spell.

Instant, Rare
For each token you control, put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of that permanent.

Love this spell at instant speed.  There is a lot of potential here with this card in constructed, whether it is standard or commander.

Nontoken creatures you control get +1/+1 and have vigilance.

Haste Blog (Japan).  Please note that this is a translation and not final - name or card text.  This is a fine anthem - would have loved this were it for tokens but at least one could have multiples of this in play.

Reddit preview.  Looks decent.  We can imagine a black - red vampire /madness based decklist being pushed in standard with the likes of this.

When Thalia's Lieutenant enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on each other Human you control.
Whenever another Human enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on Thalia's Lieutenant.

Mothersite preview.  We really loved pushing human tribal in the original Innistrad block (Champion of the Parish, etc.) and this card is most definitely encouraging us to do this yet again.  What a great card.

Madness XUU (If you discard this card, discard it into exile. When you do, cast it for its Madness cost or put it into your graveyard.)

Gain control of target creature if its toughness if 2 or less. If Welcome to the Fold's madness cost was paid, instead gain control of that creature if its toughness is X or less.

Mothersite preview.  David Palumbo rocks this art.  Blue control is getting a few lovely pieces in this new set.   Hopefully, you already secured your set of Jace, Vryn's Prodigy.
