Khans of Tarkir Spoilers 9-04

Happy Thursday MTG peeps,

We were totally expecting to get the fifth and final Khan / clan Leader previewed today (Surrak Dragonclaw for Temur) but apparently Magic: the Gathering players will have to wait just a little bit longer.  Do not worry, there are a few additional Khans of Tarkir previews to go through now, so strap in and lets go -
Clever Impersonator, 2UU
Creature - Shapeshifter, Mythic Rare
You have may Clever Impersonator enter the battlefield as a copy of any nonland permanent on the battlefield.

They told me that I could be anything, so I became a nonland permanent - sounds like the making of a great MTG meme featuring this guy.  Great versatile card that will likely see play in just about every format.  If you are a tribal nut like we are, you will appreciate that this shifter can help out your (blue) team.
Sage of the Inward Eye, 2URW
Creature - Djinn Wizard, Rare
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, creatures you control gain lifelink until end of turn.

Dang.  This thing, although pretty damn expensive can really swing your life total to your benefit.  Not sure that Jeskai players will want to hook up with this in standard due to that steep cost.
Crater's Claws, XR
Sorcery, Rare
Crater's Claws deals X damage to target creature or player.
Ferocious — Crater's Claws deals X plus 2 damage to that creature or player instead if you control a creature with power 4 or greater.

Any time we see an 'X' costed red spell, we get pretty damn excited.  Whether you are using this in a ramp strategy or a solid sink in which to drump mana, we think you'll like this.  The Ferocious tack on just makes this so saucy.
Mocking instigator (translation?), 1R
Creature - Goblin Rogue, Rare
Morph 2R
When Mocking Instigator is turned face up, if is your turn, untap target creature and take control of it until end of turn. That creature gains haste until end of turn.
2/1 preview.  We think Magic would just be so much more fun if you could just instant steal your opponent's critter and then have it block another of their attackers, but we guess that would not really make for a fun game.  This 'Threaten' similar spell may make waves but we won't hold our breath.
