Friday Potpourri

Happy Friday MTG peeps,

It being Friday we wish you good gaming if you are heading out to take in an FNM event. Here in Canada-Land, this is the Thanksgiving long weekend. In between courses of traditional poultry, we hope to get some MTG in. If you're playing some casual Magic the Gathering, just ensure you get all that sticky cranberry sauce thoroughly off that kitchen table before you start slinging cards.

Some interesting rumours about the third Magic the Gathering set in the current block (Innistrad, Dark Ascension, ? - code-named 'shake', 'rattle', 'roll') . Anywhoos - rumour has it that the third set, 'roll' is to feature 2 planeswalkers - one possibly an existing variant and the second one to be a new, never seen before 'walker. Rumour mongers currently going to town on this news.

The Friday Night Magic (FNM) promo card for November, 2011 has been confirmed as the Mirrodin Besieged Uncommon 'Go for the Throat'. The new alt art looks great. We'll make sure that we get a better image up as soon as we are able.

Speaking of promo cards,

The Innistrad Game Day (scheduled for October 29-30, 2011) promos have been revealed on the mothership. Head on out to your local game stre for the Innistrad Game Day event (held one month after every set release) and you could score one (or both of these very cool cards) . . .
