Khans of Tarkir Leak

Happy Thursday MTG peeps,

Over at our very own MTG Realm 'Khans of Tarkir' Spoiler List, we are at about 140 of 269 cards - we do have to still update with today's new previews out from the mothersite.  Having said that, there's been an interesting development in the last 24 or so hours where a number of new and very unofficial Magic: the Gathering cards have been posted to Mythic Spoiler website.

Typically we would just sit out on it as we've been burned at least twice in the past with a faked card but in this case, more than one of the leaked card images proved true.  As there is a definite possibility that these cards are real, we want to ensure you know about it a full day before the entire set gets officially posted.  We advise caution and suggest you rely only upon official content posted to the Wizards website.

Modern Event Deck Spoiler

Hello again MTG peeps,

We already did out daily post but came across this late-breaking news - an early spoiler for the Magic: the Gathering Modern Event Deck.  As it is not from the mothersite, we warn you to be cautious as to its authenticity.  Forum user 'A friend', posted this product packaging image while at a unspecified 'event'.

From the back of the packaging, our earlier speculation as to Black-White Tokens appears to be correct.  Here's the text - there may be some errors -

We are most definitely excited.  We're crossing our fingers for the inclusion of Bitter Blossom in the decklist !

Born of the Gods Release Notes

Happy Wednesday evening MTG peeps,

We know we've already provided our customary daily post and updated our Born of the Gods card list, but we have a huge pile of (unofficial?) BNG cards to share again.  Earlier this afternoon, it appears that WotC had accidentally / inadvertently posted to the mothersite the Born of the Gods Release notes (previously known as the FAQs) which gives pertinent details, descriptions and some individual card notes / explanations.  

1.23.2014 Edit - update from Wizards who had provided this statement: "The Born of the Gods Release Notes were mistakenly published early. We have chosen to keep them live to minimize confusion. The Card Image Gallery will still update as usual, with the full set being revealed Friday morning."

Wizards had removed the Release Notes document but not before a number of MTG fans reviewed and downloaded it.  At the time of post, it appears that it had been reposted.  Anywhoos,  as a result, we have over thirty new cards to share with you.  We caution you again that although the source appears to be directly from Wizards, these are not official.  Let's dig in!

Modern Masters Spoilers

This is our second post for today as we need to do a lot of catch up.  Check our our earlier post here on Magic 1014 spoilers.  For this post, we want to get everyone up to speed on whats been shaking out of the Modern Masters tree.  For the last 72 hours or so, forum member Lukka has been feeding Magic: the Gathering fans a large number of cards to appear within Modern Masters.  As the source was uncertain, we've not posted a peep about it but have to admit today that they now appear legit.  Having just said that, we warn you to only rely on official content posted on the mothersite.
