Tumblr Tuesday

~
Happy Tuesday MTG peeps,

Apologies for the late-day post.  Well the dust is starting to settle down after the full Dragon's Maze reveal yesterday over on the mothersite.  This certainly does not mean we here at MTG Realm can take a break.  Contrariwise, we're busy pre-ordering DGM singles over at MTG Mint Card and finalising cards we want to trade for over at our local gamery shoppe, OMG! Games after the prerelease.

For now however, we need to catch up with what's been going on over at our sister site, MTG Realm on Tumblr . . .

Magic: the Gathering - Dragon’s Maze Arts
This kick-butt card illustration on Armored Wolf-Rider (Dragon’s Maze common) hit right outta the park by artist Matt Stewart.
Wolf-riders of Selesnya apprentice from a young age. Each rider raises a wolf pup from birth to serve as a mount, hoping that one day the two will share the honor of guarding the Great Conclave.

Wolf riders hone their skills traversing the perilous rooftops, each dizzying step bringing elf and wolf closer together

The Great Concourse. This is a massive series of interwoven roadways that are elevated through and high above the forest canopy. Built from polished Bijan limestone (the purest and whitest), the Great Concourse gleams in the sun. Inlaid with dark granite into the central hub is the symbol of Selesnya, and this marks the area where massive gatherings of devotees are held as well as some high religious holidays. On most days, the concourse is just used as a marketplace and highway to transport goods and move enormous beasts without destroying the immaculately manicured forest below.
