NPH Intro Packs

Happy Monday MTG peeps,

As we are counting down the clock towards the pre-release this weekend, we are wrapping up the very last bits and pieces of the conventional spoiler and preview 'season'. We did bring you images of the various New Phyrexia products along with the small amount of known information about them way back in early April, but we did not have lists for New Phyrexia Intro Packs yet . . . until Thursday night when forum member 'xinpig' provided the lists. These lists were confirmed in today's Magic Arcana on the mothership.

Intro Packs are a great way for newer players to get fully submerged into the newest Magic the Gathering set. More seasoned players we know also love them as they will kitchen table or to the game store to duel against other players bringing along their own Intro Pack. These also happen to make good gifts - we think we've met with some success and have got at least two or three players into the game with an Intro Pack. Intro packs consist of 41 premium card, 1 x 60-card deck, 1 booster pack, 1 learn-to-play insert, and 1 strategy insert.

We rather like all the intro-packs but are seriously chomping at the bit to get our paws on the New Phyrexia Event decks, which if they are anything like the last event decks, we're sure it will be another home-run hit product for Wizards.

We have just the names and the images for the New Phyrexia event decks at the moment - they are War of Attrition (mono-white featuring Porcelain Legionnaire) , and Rot from Within (mono-green featuring Glistener Elf).
