We've just heard a rumour that our fav online retailer MTG Mint Card is considering getting a load of the latest special set, Modern Masters soon for sales as singles which is a good thing as we want to brew up a half-dozen different modern format decks to play during summer vacation this year. Magic: the Gathering - Starter sets
Starter was a previous introductory level Magic: the Gathering set and contained 173 cards. This set was also previously known as Portal and Portal Second Age. The 1999 Starter Game & Starter Gift Box included two 40-card decks, a rulebook, and a play guide, along with a playmat and a life counter for each player. The gift box included an “entertaining, instructional video”. This set contained 173 Cards in Total (81 Common, 55 Uncommon, and 37 Rare).
