MTG Tumblr Time

Happy Friday MTG peeps,

As it is Friday, make sure you have plans well in hand to head out to your local gaming store to take in a Friday Night Magic event.  We'll be heading off to OMG! Games here in Barrie, Ontario (just north of Toronto) to see how well our new mono-black vampire / control / whatever build does against the other cardslingers there.

As the post title indicated, it is Tumblr time again (where we repost bits 'n' bobs from our MTG Realm Tumblr account).  We keep tryin got keep it hitting a Thursday but keep missing that target with our daily posts.  Hopefully latter this weekend we will be receiving some additional information regarding the Return to Ravnica game day promos from a source we are cultivating at the moment.

Looks like Return to Ravnica will be getting one or more new Loxodons, but what the heck are these creatures ? (top left is from the RtR art previews, the remainding are existing cards)
Ravnican loxodons are nearly extinct. Most seek membership in the Selesnya Conclave, it being the most naturalistic of the guilds. Unlike their non-sentient elephant cousins, all Loxodon’s are white (or contain white in their casting cost) creatures rather than green.
