More Worldwake Promos

Good Day MTG Peeps, Some interesting news on the Worldwake promo front - have a read :

Anywhoos - We guess that those so-called mini-boosters simply did not go over very well - in Japan that is. Six Magic the Gathering cards may not have been enough - You can check out our previous post HERE on this. To this end, there is an interesting promotion being run in Japan.

Limited time only - purchase SIX mini-boosters of Magic 2010, Zendikar or Worldwake and get this awesome Loam Lion promo. Pretty sweet deal we think.

Also of note (while you are in Japan) - you can purchase SIX (regular) boosters of Magic 2010, Zendikar or Worldwake and get a Oran-Rief, the Vastwood - not too shabby either.

Personally, we would line up for this one as we think that this is a killer card - think about pumping up those Insect (Ant Queen), Saproling (Mycoloth), Wolf (Wolfbriar Elemental) or Plant Tokens (Avenger or Zenikar) !

While we are yattering about promo cards, you may have already heard about what you may be getting during the Worldwake Game Day tournament being held March 6th, 2010 . . .

From Wizards of the Coast . . .

All participants receive a Hada Freeblade promo card (while supplies last). The top 8 players each receive an exclusive Kalastria Highborn full-art promo card. The cards are awarded to the Top 8 players even if the tournament cuts only to the top 4. Two Kalastria Highborn promo cards will also be awarded as door prizes at each location.

The winner receives the Worldwake Game Day winners certificate, as well as the Worldwake Champion title. Selected top 8 decks and all Game Day winners will also be featured on magicthegathering.com.

We will make sure that you get images of these full-art promo cards as soon as we get it.
