DTK Spoilers -

~
Happy Monday MTG peeps,

Welcome to week two of official Dragons of Tarkir previews!  Magic: the Gathering players all around the world will be soaking up this, the last week, of official previews and will then have one full week to digest all the new card awesomeness before having the chance of gaming with them in the Dragons of Tarkir prerelease events being held on the weekend of 21 / 22 March, 2015.

There are a bunch of new cards to go through, so let's get straight to it -

Hedonist's Trove, 5BB
Enchantment. Rare
When Hedonist's Trove enters the battlefield, exile all cards from target opponent's graveyard.
You may play land cards exiled with Hedonist's Trove.
You may cast non-land cards exiled with Hedonist's Trove. You can't cast more than one spell this way each turn.

BigMagic Japanese preview.  This might be playable, were it 3 or 4 mana cheaper and then only perhaps as a sideboard card against a blue / black control deck maybe.  Don't know what the Commander folks think about this one (?).  :(

Dragon Whisperer, RR
Creature - Human Shaman, Mythic Rare
R: Dragon Whisperer gains flying until end of turn.
1R: Dragon Whisperer gets +1/+0 until end of turn.
Formidable - 4RR: Put a 4/4 red Dragon creature token with flying onto the battlefield. Activate this ability only if creatures you control have total power 8 of greater.
2/2

This is some sweet art from Chris Rallis.  Very lovely card early game and also decent late game.

Mirror Mockery, 1U
Enchantment - Aura, Rare
Enchant creature
Whenver enchanted creature attacks, you may put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of that creature. Exile that token at the end of combat.

Mothersite preview.  We would have been head over heels should that clone token have haste and able to attack, or even stick around but this is garbage.

Kolaghan's Command, 1RB
Instant, Rare
Choose two —
• Return target creature card from graveyard to hand
• Target player discards a card
• Destroy target artifact
• Kolaghan's Command deals 2 damage to target creature or player

MTG Facebook preview.  The instant discard means that it may be quite devastating late game when your opponent just drew with that one card in hand.  Especially good if you already know what that top deck may be thanks to Courser of Kruphix.

Crater Elemental, 2R
Creature - Elemental, Rare
R, T, Sacrifice Crater Elemental: Crater Elemental deals 4 damage to target creature.
Formidable — 2R: Crater Elemental has base power 8 until end of turn. Activate this ability only if creatures you control have total power 8 or greater.
0/6

Grand Prix Miami preview.  Awesome walking lava-bowl art from Svetlin Velinov.  We're unsure of this weird wall.

Draconic Roar
Instant, Uncommon
As an additional cost to cast Draconic Roar, you may reveal a Dragon card from your hand.
Draconic Roar deals 3 damage to target creature.if you revealed a Dragon card or controlled a Dragon as you cast Draconic Roar,
Draconic Roar deals 3 damage to that creature's controller.

PlanetMTG preview - ROUGH TRANSLATION.
~
Silumgar's Scorn, UU
Instant, Uncommon
As an additional cost to cast Silumgar's Scorn, you may reveal a Dragon card from your hand.
Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1. If you revealed a Dragon card or controlled a Dragon as you cast Silumgar's Scorn, counter that spell instead.

TCG Player preview.  Sweet counter spell.
~
Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, WW
Legendary Creature - Spirit Soldier
Whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, boster 1. (Choose a creature with the least toughness among creatures you control and put a +1/+1 counter on it.)
2/2

We've seen this earlier but its nice to now find out the early spoil was not a fake.
~
. . . and bunch of others too from the mothersite -
• Surge of Righteousness
• Encase in Ice
• Self-Inflicted Wound

• Display of Dominance
