Happy Monday MTG peeps,
Welcome to the second exciting week of Gatecrash Previews! In very general terms, we will agree with some players we've spoken with that this, the second set in the Return to Ravnica block seems to hold a bit more Magic: the Gathering flavour compared to the first set with the cards preview so far. We're hoping that week two of Gatecrash Spoilers 'n' Previews will deliver the last outstanding legendary guild leader - specifically the Simic one - 'Zegana'. As per usual, we will add to this post throughout the day should any other new card be revealed and recommend that you drop by the MTG Realm Spoiler List as we continually update it.
Let's get to today's new card goodness !
Mind Grind, xub
Sorcery, Rare
Each opponent reveals cards from the top of his or her library until he or she reveals X land cards, then puts all cards revealed this way into his or her graveyard. X can't be 0.
MaRo Mothersite preview. Dimir looks ready to deliver some decent milling cards and Mind Grind is just amazing. This will rock in most formats and will be just a beast in limited. We think that many will start to consider constructed builds with Jace's Phantasm, Duskmantle Guildmage and Consuming Aberration. We have to go shopping at MTG Mint Card again to scrape together a proper milling deck with all these very kewl Dimir cards.
~Stolen Identity, 4uu
Sorcery, Rare
Put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of target artifact or creature.
Cipher (Then you may exile this spell card encoded on a creature you control. Whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player, its controller may cast a copy of the encoded card without paying its mana cost.)
Dave Humpherys Mothersite preview. Wazzup with all the 6 cmc cards? If you have a blue EDH / Commander deck, you may want to consider this in your build. We will personally high-five the first player to have a game go down with Invisible Stalker encoded with Stolen Identity.

Other Gatecrash cards surfacing today :
Boros Keyrune, 3
Artifact, Uncommon
{T}: Add {R} or {W} to your mana pool.
{R}{W}: Boros Keyrune becomes a 1/1 red and white Soldier artifact creature with double strike until end of turn.
Wizards Card Image Gallery. We now have the Boros, Dimir, and Gruul Keyrunes. Waiting on Orzhov and Simic.
Crocanura, 2g
Creature - Crocodile Frog, Common
Reach
Evolve (Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, if that creature has greater power or toughness than this creature, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature.)
1/3
Gathering Magic preview. Oh Simic - so weird and wonderful with your critter hybrids. Love the 'Froc' here.
Dimir Charm, ub
Instant, Uncommon
Choose one - Counter target sorcery spell; or destroy target creature with power 2 or less; or look at the top three cards of target player's library, then put one back and the rest into that player's graveyard.
ChannelFireball preview. This is the first guild charm to date. We're thinking this looks great for limited.
Signal the Clans, rg
Instant, Uncommon
Search your library for three creature cards and reveal them. If you searched for three cards with different names, choose one at random at put it into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your library.
MTG Japan preview. Odd wording here but we'll wait for the final English card text until passing judgement. So far it appears that should you choose 3 different, you'll get a random creature, otherwise, they'll all shuffle back into your library.

Sunhome Guildmage, rw
Creature - Human Wizard, Uncommon
1{R}{W}: Creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn.
2{R}{W}: Put a 1/1 red and white Soldier creature token with haste onto the battlefield.
2/2
Day9 Preview. We've never heard of Day9 before but it looks like Sean Plott runs all sorts of gaming multimedia thingys. This Guildmage does not make the cut in our opinion for limited or constructed.
~
Urban Evolution, 3gu
Sorcery, Uncommon
Draw three cards. You may play an additional land this turn.
LoadingReadyRun preview. Looks good for EDH / Commander as well as limited but we're not quite satisfied whether this will be popular with the standard crowd.
