Happy Thursday MTG peeps,
We have again for you today three brand-spanking new Magic the Gathering cards which you can throw on the Innistrad spoiler pyre to light your imagination. It is a bit difficult to judge a card without the other missing pieces - is it jank, standard / extended constructed worthy, or will it fit nicely in a Commander deck? We leave you to decide and flavour the posts with our own brand of wittless inanity.
Stromkirk Noble,
Creature - Vampire, Rare
Stromkirk Noble can't be blocked by Humans.
When Stromkirk Noble deals combat damage to a player, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
"A responsible king walks among his subjects." Illus. James Ryman
1/1
This art is supreme and begs to accompanied with the text 'Haters gonna Hate'. This Anne Rice Lestat vampire is totally pimpwalking through the humans here. Yep - right in the middle of day too and not going all disco like Twilight's fang-faced Eddie Cullen. Anywhoos - we like the idea of a one-drop vamp. We also like that with humans being a major trbe in Innistrad, this may balance things out a bit. What we are unsure of is just how to play this - should we draw out a opponent's kill / removal spell or will there be a Whispersilk Cloak available in the new set to allow this 1/1 fang-banger to grow into a monster.

We've seen this guy before - featured as a Persian bang-chucker in our favourite anachronistically incorrect film '300' where he lobs holy hand grenades for King Xerxes. Apparently, he now works for the Skirsdag cult on Innistrad spawning demons . . . kewl.
Skirsdag High Priest, 1
Creature - Human Cleric, Rare
Morbid - {T}, tap two untapped creatures you control: Put a 5/5 black Demon creature token with flying onto the battlefield. Activate this ability only if a creature died this turn.
"Thraben's pleas fall of deaf ears. Ours do not." Illus. Jason A. Engle #117/264
1/2
Here's a preview from Channel Fireball featuring that new 'morbid' tech. We would count ourselves among the unhappy should we pull this from a booster pack's rare slot. It is not very practical in the standard environment for one - kill off a critter and ensure you have the High Priest and two other creatures available to tap. Now - when we consider a Commander build with this fella, we most whole-heartedly approve - this will make a splash.

Rooftop Storm, 5
Enchantment, Rare
You may pay 0 rather than pay the mana cost for Zombie creature spells you cast.
"Let those idiot priests tremble! A new era in unlife begins here and now. Oglor, raise the lightning vane!" -- Stitcher Geralf Illus. John Stanko #71/264
Our socks got wet with all the flavour sloshing out of this card. Mad scientist, dark evening, and BAMF! - suddenly Zombies. Again - this would totally suck to get stuck with this in a limited or constructed game as it is arriving simply too late for the party but dang - this is really screaming to be a key card in a Zombie Commander deck.

That's it for now, ensure you keep checking back often for updates on our Innistrad Spoiler List and our Twitter feed. MTG Mint Card also does a great job keeping up to speed to deliver the latest new cards on their Facebook Page.
