Happy Friday MTG Peeps,
As is our custom here on MTG Realm with each new set release, we head over to OMG Games, our local store in Barrie, Ontario, Canada and dissect a Magic the Gathering Fat Pack. Here's the video from today's Mirrodin Besieged Fat Pack:
Let's go . . .

NEW FAT PACK: The classic Magic Fat Pack receives a new configuration with the release of Mirrodin Besieged. Fat Packs will now contain nine boosters (instead of eight), 80 land cards (instead of 40), a Spindown™ life counter, a player’s guide, a card storage box, and two 60-card deck boxes.
Although we're sure that new players getting into the game may appreciate the massive wallop of lands, we as well as many other players we yattered to certainly do not. Wizards can keep 'em - we're mana-flooded.

If you're looking for a great on-line retailer whom you can put in your Mirrodin Besieged pre-orders, give MTG Mint Card a try. They now have cool MBS spin-down life counters and a great deal for MBS common / uncommon card lots.
Nice. I've got to find out how much this costs in New Zealand...

Hawk it is about $55 New Zealand dollars. Love the new set, wish my mom would let me spend more on it
ReplyDeleteim considering buying this, my local retailer is selling it for $60 (AUS), and boosters being $8 each, it would be stupid not to get it (9 boosters = $72 normally), plus bonus stuff, im really only considering it for the card box though, never have to many of them
