Happy Friday MTG Peeps,
We are on the road at the moment reveling in the craziness that is this time of year but have taken a break to bring you some very exciting news. We now have three more cards to addd to the Mirrodin Besieged spoiler list, two of which represent the Mirrodin Besieged Pre-Release and Release promos.
First off, let's have a look at the source of these newly relevealed cards - the Release poster . . .

Now zooming in on the goods . . .
Thopter Assembly, 6
Artifact Creature, Rare
Thopter FlyingAt the beginning of your upkeep, if you control no other Thopters other than Thopter Assembly, return Thopter Assembly to its owner's hand and put 5 1/1 colourless Thopter artifact creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield.
5/5
Thopter Assembly will be the Mirrodin Besieged Release Promo handed out to participants on the weekend of 4th February. This can be quite a punch if you land this on the game table at the right time - think of the huge pump one could get with Tempered Steel in play. A bit to expensive 'n' chunky for our tastes but we still have a lot more cards to see spoiled / previewed in this set.
Glissa, The Traitor, BGG
Legendary Creature - Zombie Elf
Deathtouch, first strike
Whenever a creature an opponent controls is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you may return target artifact card from your graveyard to your hand.
3/3
Hero of Bladehold, 2WW
Creature - Human Knight
Battle Cry (Whenever a creature with Battle Cry attacks, each other attacking creature gets +1/+0 until EOT)
Whenever Hero of Bladehold put two ??onto the battlefield.
??
Expect to see these two cards being handed out during the pre-release events and depending upon which faction you may have went with (most likely Phyrexia), you will receive one or the other. Glissa has a most excellent artifact recursion you will want to take full advantage of - thinking something epic like Wurmcoil Engine here. We still do not have the final text on the new keyword mechanic Battle Cry but have some fairly logical deductions as to what it may be from the small portion of the text seen. ~
