Good Day folks,
It's starting to get cold and cr@ppy outside around where we live but for the moment, Scars of Mirrodin previews are burning up the internets. Today's post, we won't be yattering about some of the new awesome cards which will pimp your game but rather what Scars of Mirrodin cards are generating tokens. Playing a token deck can be rather powerful - just look at how well the Eldrazi Green build had been doing. Anywhoos - let's have us a look what Wizards gave us today . . .

We also have an unaccounted for token with no parent in sight - Wizards has not previewed the card yet, so we'll have to use our imagination . .
Yep - that is a 1/1 Goblin creature token.
Also - We have a very handy poison counter card to throw our dice on to see how much longer we will last at the game table . . .
From the Comprehensive Rules
* 502.69. Poisonous
o 502.69a Poisonous is a triggered ability. "Poisonous N" means "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, that player gets N poison counters." (For information about poison counters, see rule 102.3d.)
o 502.69b If a creature has multiple instances of poisonous, each triggers separately.
o 102.3d If a player has ten or more poison counters, he or she loses the game the next time a player would receive priority. (This is a state-based effect. See rule 420.)

We have not forgotten the cards which generate Myr tokens but would like to give it a separate post as this new quasi-tribal development demands it's own post - please look for this post soon.

Just a reminder to all, be sure to check out our Scars of Mirrodin Spoiler list which is constantly updated - linky is HERE. The last few days, we've already been planning SoM pre-orders (from MTG Mint Card) as we are developing new tech for the game table - ensure you plan yours.

Uh, are you going to post today's spoiled cards anytime soon, or did we just get tokens today?
