We have three more Shards of Alara Conflux cards to spoil to you the hungry MTG-Realm blog reader. This time from the french magazine Lotus Noir.
Not only is this a solid mag (from a quick review of the articles presented), it also comes packed with . . . yep - you see it too - a booster pack (!).
Let's go . .
Conflux, 3WUBRG
Sorcery Mythic Rare
Search your library for a white card, a blue card, a black card, a red card and a green card. Reveal these cards and put them into your hand. Shuffle your library afterward.
The art on this card is interesting . . . it looks like Nicol Bolas mixing one heck of a magical Conflux cocktail. This is guaranteed to give any Alara denizen a hangover. The mana cost here may very well be worth it depending upon what nastiness you are putting into your hand. Personally, I will leave this card to the nutty combo-centric Johnnies out there.
Cylian Sunsinger, 1G
Creature - Elf Shaman Rare
{R}{G}{W}: Cylian Sunsinger and each creature with the same name gets +3/+3 until end of turn.
2/2
With a card like this, you would be crazy not have a full deck set to beat your opponent with. I am also seeing players using Elvish Harbinger to tease afore-mentioned Sunsinger out to play.
Martial Coup, XWW
Sorcery Rare
Put X 1/1 white Soldier tokens into play. If X is greater than or equal to 5, destroy all other creatures.
This is another interesting twist on Wrath of God. But where Wrath costs 4 and leaves the board clean, this (if you choose so) will cost 7 and leave an excellent post-wrath residual of 5 tokens to get the first kick in.
Stay tuned for more witty commentaries and Spoilers.
